Though Twitter’s community cotes have long been heralded as the fact-checking force of our time — and one of the few positive changes Elon Musk has enacted as the social platform’s overlord — it appears the function isn’t afraid to call a butthole a butthole.

On Monday, author Deb JJ Lee decided to do her damnedest to teach her followers a lesson in marine biology, sharing what she claimed was a horrifying lesson about sea urchin anatomy.

“Learned that sea urchins have a single eye and now I’m physically ill,” she captioned her now-viral post depicting to images of the underwater critter.

Despite its nightmare-inducing graphics, it appears there was one thing wrong with Lee’s post — the circular hole wasn’t an eyeball.

“That is a butthole,” read the quickly-added community note, one that sent the post skyrocketing to viral infamy (which has since been edited to elaborate on sea urchin's anatomy).

“Incredible shot/chaser community note,” wrote one commenter.

“New eye of sauron just dropped,” added another.

But regardless of whether that hole is an a—hole or an eyeball, urchins are still f—king terrifying nonetheless.

‘Call the Police!’: Employee Fired After Brawl Breaks Out Over Espresso Shots

How many baristas does it take to pour an espresso shot? I don’t know, but this one better not be involved.

How many baristas does it take to pour an espresso shot? I don’t know, but this one better not be involved.

On January 13th, police were called to Harvest & Grounds, located in Concourse D of the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, due to a “disturbance.” The disturbance was, according to Fox 5 Atlanta, a fight over espresso shots.

In a video of the fight, a woman can be seen demanding her “stuff” and throwing hands with another employee. It’s unclear what led to this, but by the time the video starts, the restaurant has cleared out and employees are taking turns trying to hold the woman back.

Again, the only thing Fox 5 Atlanta and other sources have said regarding a reason for this fight is “espresso shots.” I’ve spent a good 10 minutes pacing my apartment trying to figure out how anything related to espresso shots could lead to an all-out brawl, and I’ve got nothing. Maybe some people are just more passionate about coffee than I am.

Regardless, the woman in the video was fired, though sources say that no charges are being pressed against her at the moment. Let’s just hope she’s learned to handle her espresso shot arguments better — or at the very least, that she switched to decaf.
